JAMBALAYA FOR THE CROCK POT




INGREDIENTS
  • 12ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 12cups green peppers, chopped
  • 1medium onion, chopped
  • 2celery ribs, sliced
  • 4garlic cloves, minced
  • 1(14 ounce) can whole tomatoes
  • 13cup tomato paste
  • 1(10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1tablespoon parsley
  • 12teaspoons basil
  • 12teaspoon oregano
  • 1teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 12teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 12teaspoon salt
  • 1lb shrimp, shelled
  • 3cups cooked rice
DIRECTIONS
  • Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces.
  • Put all ingredients (EXCEPT shrimp and rice) in crock pot.
  • Cover; cook on low for 8 hours.
