Easy Melting Chocolate Ball

For this recipe you’ll need some small 5-inch balloons, which you can find at any party store or online. To pipe the dark chocolate into the white chocolate, just clip off 1/8″ from the corner of a ziplock bag if you don’t have a pastry bag handy. INGREDIENTS
Swirl Chocolate Balls

  • 10 ounces white chocolate melted
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate melted
  • Serving
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate melted
  • ice cream of choice
  • fresh berries of choice optional

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, melt white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth. Repeat in a separate bowl for dark chocolate.
  2. Cut the corner off a ziplock bag and pipe into white chocolate following video. Set aside.
  3. Set aside a medium baking sheet, and place 4 ramekins or very small bowls onto sheet. Inflate four 5" balloons to about 6 inches in length.
  4. Dip each balloon into chocolate, twist to create a swirl pattern and place upside down into a ramekin/bowl. Freeze 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from freezer. Carefully pop the balloon with a knife or cake tester. Pull off popped balloon and set chocolate ball back onto baking sheet.
