Ingredients

  • 4 strips of applewood bacon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 loving cup diced ruby-red onion

  • 3 cups butternut squelch cubes
  • 1 loving cup depression sodium chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon diced fresh sage
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon diced fresh thyme
  • 1 loving cup 2% milk
  • salt to taste
  • 2 lb. gluten gratis pasta (I used quinoa pasta)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet add together the butter as well as ruby-red onion. Saute until slightly soft, most 1-2 minutes.
  2. Next add together inwards the garlic, saute for thirty seconds, stir as well as add together the butternut squash, chicken stock, sage, as well as thyme. Stir as well as cover. Cook until the butternut squelch is fork tender, most 8-10 minutes.
  3. When the squelch is tender, add together the squelch to a nutrient processor along amongst the milk as well as tabular array salt to taste. Puree until smooth.
