Cherry Margarita Pound Cake


Have I mentioned how much I dear margaritas cherries? I dear cherry-flavored desserts. And every baker needs a good, company pound cake recipe. I'm fortunate to bring a couple that I love!

My boy in addition to his friend made this pound cake a twosome weeks ago, using lime juice. But for me? I idea why not add together inwards tequila instead. Perfect.

My hubs said he could gustatory modality the "zing" of the tequila, I certainly didn't mean value so. I mean value the "zing" he tasted was lime zest. BUT, if it's called margarita cake, yous bring to bring tequila. Don't ya think?

Cherry Margarita Pound Cake
Ingredients
    For the Cake:

    • 1/4 tsp baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
    • 1 loving cup sour cream
    • 4 modest limes, zested (save juice)
    • 1/2 loving cup tequila
    For the Glaze:
    • 2 loving cup powdered sugar
    • 5 tsp maraschino cherry juice
    • 1 Tbsp lime juice (about 1/2 lime)
    • Maraschino cherries, for garnish
    Instructions

    1. In a large mixing bowl, shell butter until creamy. Add inwards sugar, beating until fluffy. Add egg yolks, 1 at a fourth dimension (save whites for afterward inwards this recipe).
