Matcha Desserts: Emerald Pecan Brownies Recipe

Yet, many of those gorgeous desserts fall short of the moist and mouth-watering treats that come from bake sales and holidays.

The answer is yes. When it comes to our recipes for matcha desserts, looks and flavour go hand in hand. In addition to adding a lovely emerald tint to almost anything it comes into contact with, matcha green tea powder has a wealth of benefits for your health.

Ingredients

  • 6 ozs white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup raw sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Epic Matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Spread pecans in an even layer on baking sheet and toast for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Grease a square brownie pan and lightly dust with flour.
  4. In a small saucepan melt white chocolate chips and butter over low heat.
  5. Whisk in raw sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  6. Mix flour, matcha, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  7. Pour wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Mix.
  8. Fold in toasted pecans..
