The Best Easy Cream Cheese Filled Banana Dessert Bread Recipe
This is the BEST banana bread recipe we’ve ever conjured up (and we’ve experimented with a bagillion and a half combinations). This franken-recipe version turns out with perfect yummy texture and flavors. To tip the scales from delish to perfection – it’s swirled with scrumptious vanilla cream cheese filling elevating it from yummy snack to irresistible dessert status!

3 Whole Ripe Bananas mashed by hand (apx 1 1/2 Cups)
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated White Sugar
1/2 Cup Vegetable or Canola Oil
2 Large Eggs
1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt optional
Cream Cheese Filling
8 ounce package Cream Cheese Softened
2 Large Eggs
1/2 Cup Granulated White Sugar
4 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

INSTRUCTIONS

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease and flour two full size loaf pans.
- In a large bowl, mash your bananas with a fork or potato masher to however consistency you like. I prefer leaving some little chunks.
- Add the 2 eggs, 1/2 cup each sugars, oil, greek yogurt (or sour cream) and 2 tsp. vanilla and mix by hand to incorporate well.
- Add the 1 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Fold in with spatula or spoon until it's just combined - don't over mix it.
