Lemon cream pie smoothie recipe

This lemon cream pie smoothie is creamy, thick and bursting with fresh lemon flavor. The perfect way to refresh yourself on a hot summer day without consuming a ton of calories.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup skim milk, or substitute another milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free (and fat-free) lemon pudding mix, dry
  • 1 (6 ounce) Yoplait light lemon cream pie yogurt
  • 1 large banana
  • 1/2 to 1 cup ice, depending on desired consistency
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • Reduced-fat whipped topping (optional)
  • Crushed graham cracker crumbs (optional)
  • Yellow food coloring (optional)

Directions:

  • In a blender, combine the milk, dry pudding mix, yogurt, banana, ice and lemon juice. If desired, add in the vanilla protein powder and 2 to 3 drops of yellow food coloring. Blend until smooth, and pour equal amounts into 2 glasses.
  • Garnish with reduced-fat whipped topping and graham cracker crumbs, if desired.
